Redsoxs vs Tigers by Robert Alexander

Game 2 of the Redsox vs Tigers series ended in a shocking 4-3 victory for the highly questioned Detroit team. The first 3 innings were quiet for both teams except for a walk by Detroit pitcher Paxton. The 4th inning was led off by Tigers outfielder Torii Hunter who started the inning with a solid double. Following Hunter was Cabrera who was quickly walked. Peralta then hit a base hit followed by another base hit by Ienneta scoring 2 runs. Martinez then hit a base hit to bring Ienneta and Peralta home to increase the lead to 4runs. Later in the game the scoreline got close when detroit pitcher Hoochevar gave up 3 runs in the 8th due to a double by Gonzalez and a single by Ortiz. The tigers then brought in Coleman to seal the win with an astounding 3 up 3 down to lay to rest the controversy over wether The Detroit Tigers will be able to compete this year with new managers.
